Labourers

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers for a busy timber mill producing battens. This is an ongoing casual opportunity offering full-time hours (38 per week) with potential for long-term work for the right candidate.


About the Role:

Working within a fast-paced timber production environment, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of timber battens and assisting with general site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift to move timber products safely around site
• Assisting with production line duties
• Stacking, sorting and strapping timber
• Manual handling and repetitive lifting
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Supporting yard and dispatch teams as required

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

• Current Forklift Licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a timber mill, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment (highly regarded)
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role
• Reliable transport and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
